Kaabo Wolf Warrior 11 Overview

If you want a thrilling riding experience on an e-scooter, the Wolf Warrior 11 might be worthy of your consideration. It’s one of the monster scooters that beat the mass on the market, especially if you prefer a few top-notch advanced features in one electric scooter.

If you know that the power plant like the motor and battery, and electronics of this scooter are all made by MiniMotors, which is also the manufacturer of the Dualtron series, you won’t be surprised that the Kaabo Wolf Warrior 11 is always considered one of the strongest competitor to Dualtron Thunder.

However, the Kaabo Wolf Warrior 11 earns its reputation among a large number of experienced scooterists, for its outlook and cheaper price than Dualtron Thunder.

Power Performance – Powerful for High Speed and Long Range

Motor

Having its name among the scooter beasts, the Kaabo Wolf Warrior 11 should impress its fans with an absolutely powerful motor system. Yes, one motor is not commonly seen on high-end electric scooters. The dual-motor system is the basic equipment.

Kaabo Wolf Warrior 11 packs with two brushless 1200W motors, combined with two 40A controllers, to deliver up to 5400W output at peak. When most of the inexpensive e-scooters are powered by 400W motors and midrange electric scooters featuring 1000W motors, Kaabo Wolf Warrior 11 can beat them with just one motor for working. After comparing the scooters’ motor power and price, we find that the price is closely tied to the motor volume.

Top Speed

Thanks to its ultra-powerful dual motor, the Kaabo Wolf Warrior 11 reaches a fast top speed – up to 50 miles per hour, making it one of the fastest electric scooters on our list. This speed is the test results from the company. Actual riding speed may vary depending on the rider’s weight and the road conditions.

If you have an average weight and ride it on pavement or flat roads, the 50 mph top speed is not difficult to reach. But for heavier riders (the scooter can support an adult of 330 lbs and we’ll talk about it in the latter part), the speed might slow down to a lower one.

But we don’t want to complain about the Kaabo Wolf Warrior 11’s speed performance, because 50 mph is fast enough for commuting or getting around, or even extreme riding on trails.

Acceleration

It takes only 1.9 seconds for Kaabo Wolf Warrior 11 to accelerate from still to 15 mph, in the maxed-out turbo and dual motor mode. Make sure you prepare for the fast and instant acceleration before starting, as there is no zero acceleration lag.

It’s not recommended for beginners and non-skilled riders to speed up the scooter like this, as the trigger throttle is very sensitive to launch the scooter. If you have not got used to a high-speed scooter, sudden acceleration might let you lose control of the scooter and put yourself in a risky situation.

For your safety’s sake, it’s good to start it in a single motor mode after you can have it completely under your control. Wearing a certified motorcycle helmet is necessary to protect yourself when riding a high-top-speed scooter.

Climbing Hill

Thanks to the ultra-powerful dual motor, there is no doubt for the Kaabo Wolf Warrior 11’s ability to go uphill.

The manufacturer boasts of 30% hill climbing. The time to complete the climb depends on the rider’s weight, the speed of the scooter, the grade, and the length of the slope. Based on the real tests, the scooter can effortlessly hold a 165 lb rider to climb a long and steep street in seconds.

Actually, if you’re not a heavier rider, this beast scooter may let you go up 30-degree hills effortlessly.

Battery and Range

The Wolf Warrior 11 packs a massive 2100 (60V 35Ah) watt-hour battery from top-notch brand LG in combination with the giant electron-burning dual motors. This enables you to enjoy getting around without any worry about the halfway burning out energy.

Riding with the eco mode on a single motor drive, it’s able to go as further as 70 miles as the manufacturer claimed. If you choose the turbo mode to fire the two motors for riding at the top speed, the Kaabo Wolf Warrior 11 still can hit about 40 miles of range at most.

The real-world range might be longer if you ride more conservatively on flat roads or pavements, or even glasses. But it should be less if you ride the scooter with frequent stops and hills climbing, or a few wild off-roading.

It’s common that a larger battery requires more time to charge for full juice. If using only one single standard charger, it takes 14 to 17 hours; two standard chargers reduce the charging time, it only needs 8 to 10 hours, which is still a bit long to wait.

Luckily, the Wolf Warrior supports fast charge and it only takes about 6 hours to charge the scooter with a fast charger and standard charger.

Ride Quality – Big Wheel and Efficient Suspension and Braking

Tire

The bigger the scooter’s tire, the higher the ground clearance, and the smoother you’ll feel on the roads. Equipped with 11-inch pneumatic tubeless street tires for front and rear, the Wolf Warrior offers a more stable riding experience than you can imagine. You’ll feel fully in control of all kinds of riding conditions, except the off-road terrain.

Default, the Wolf Warrior is equipped with two road tires for daily use like commuting or getting around. But if you want to destroy off-road terrain, there are off-road tires available for changing. The heavy-duty shocks and knobby tires should make the Kaabo Wolf Warrior 11 ultra-stable on all terrains, including the trails and muddy roads.

Suspension

Featuring front hydraulic and rear springs suspension, the Wolf Warrior delivers a very smooth and comfortable ride in any terrain. The front hydraulic shock absorbers are motorcycle-grade, outperforming most dual-suspension scooters on the market.

Braking

The Kaabo Wolf Warrior 11 features dual front and rear hydraulic brakes with well-ventilated clippers made by Zoom.

The brake levers themselves are high quality and thick. Brake activation is silky smooth, consistent, and effortless. Minimal force is enough for the brake activation, without the need for additional force but just two fingers’ power.

Plus, the Wolf Warrior has another supportive feature – an electronic anti-lock brake system (eABS), which is enabled by default on the assembled part. Though it’s not a true ABS-like on a car, it’s effective to prevent an emergency for sudden braking. This system will activate to pulse an electronic brake via motor as long as you start to brake.

Build – Study and Solide Enough for Heavy Riders

Portability

The Wolf Warrior 11 is an ultra-large vehicle and one of the heaviest scooters out there, with a weight of 101 pounds. Few scooters on the market can beat this scale, except the Dualtron X2, UberScoot, and its siblings from the same Kaabo company – Wolf King.

Obviously, the Wolf Warrior 11 scooter is not designed with portability, but featuring a much bulkier body. Luckily, it’s foldable for convenient transportation in an SUV or truck, but this certainly isn’t the type of electric scooter that you can fold up and carry onto the bus or train.

Weight is one factor that prevents you from doing this; the other is the size. After folding up, the Wolf Warrior is almost 60-inches in length, even 10 inches longer than when it’s folded. This makes it one of the longest scooters that will not fit into most car trunks, even the manufacturer boasts of its foldability.

The folding mechanism on the Wolf Warrior 11 is one of the best for effortless folding. But it also has one significant drawback – there is no way to lock the scooter into the folded configuration, just like the other monster scooters. Supposedly the company doesn’t think it’s necessary to have that feature as the scooter itself has two heavy stems for a good connection to the deck.

Folding and unfolding the Wolf Warrior is relatively easy.

Deck

The Wolf Warrior 11 has a spacious deck covered in a rubber mat, providing you sufficient standing room without the need of putting your left feet above on the rear fender.

With dimensions at 21 x 9 inches (length and width), the scooter allows the rider to put both feet on the deck with ease.

Lights

Looking at the Wolf Warrior’s lights system, you know it’s worth the price. It has ultra bright headlights, side bright and mood lights, and a massive red LED rear tail light.

The two giant-eyed forward-facing LED headlamps are super bright and are likely all the forward lighting you’ll need at night. There are three modes to lighten them: bright, low, and seizure-inducing blinking. Moreover, they can be adjusted horizontally or titled vertically, based on your needs and habits. This is more appealing than most scooters with fixed headlights on top or at the bottom with no adjustment at all.

The sidelights not just help to illuminate the ground in front and around the scooter, but also increase visibility if you need to ride it on roads in dark environments.

Additional mood blue lights are available. They are controlled by a separate switch mounted near the power charging ports.

Is the Kaabo Wolf Warrior 11 suitable for heavy riders?

Yes. It features a maximum load capacity of 330 pounds. Slightly heavier big guys can still ride on it, thanks to its sturdy and solid construction. The Wolf Warrior has a strong and muscular body.

330-lb weight limit is not the highest of the scooters for heavy riders, and if you want a higher weight-limit scooter – try the Wolf King, which is also branded by Kaabo.

Is Wolf Warrior 11 waterproof?

No. It features only IPX4 water-resistance.

None of the scooters on the market is 100% waterproof, though most of them feature a waterproofing IP rating. According to the waterproof definition, only the highest 7 level is acceptable for true waterproof. However, most electric vehicles – scooters or bikes, do not feature an IPX7 rating.

After all, the most proficient welding technique can’t assure that no water will get into the scooter. And it’s nonsense to submerge a scooter into the water to test this.

The waterproofing IP rating used on scooters is just to make sure that you can ride them on wet roads or not, or in rains occasionally in case you meet rainy weather.

Most manufacturers would suggest in their manual that you should not ride their scooters outside in the rain. It’s reasonable, as the most important components like the battery – built-in the deck, and motor – installed in the wheel, will be firstly damaged if flood water on the roads.

It makes sense to feature a water-resistance rating, because sometimes you may need to ride the scooter on slightly wet roads, just remember to avoid deep puddles through your way.
